Multi Engine Rating

What is a Multi-Engine Rating?

A Multi Engine Rating allows the pilot to control an aircraft with more than one engine. The rating teaches the pilot about more complex aircraft systems and the aerodynamics associated with multiple engines.

Basic Requirements:

  • Hold at least a private pilot certificate.
  • Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Hold at least a valid third-class medical certificate.
  • No minimum hourly requirement; however, our students generally require 10 to 15 hours of flight instruction.
  • Pass a practical test.

For further, more specific information call or email us at Cactus Aviation to contact one of our Certified Flight Instructors and we will be happy to discuss your concerns and questions.
